Presented by St. Croix Preparatory Academy. The purpose of Listen Local is to raise funds for the Arts and support our Valley community. Proceeds benefit performing and visual arts programming at St. Croix Preparatory Academy.

"The 2012 Inaugural Listen Local Concert is an exciting and inviting event that will embrace our east metro and St. Croix Valley communities while raising funds for the arts. Listen Local is an annual opportunity for our local community to hear a national artist right here in Stillwater. Included in the Listen Local Lounge will be pre-concert performances by local musicians, (Patrick Harison and Patty and the Buttons,) and food and beverages from local producers. Our featured artist is innovative acoustic guitarist, Billy McLaughlin, whose story and music have been featured on the CBS Early Show and PBS stations across the country. A reception with Billy follows his stage performance; it should be a fantastic night,” said Debbie Bramstedt, Development Director at St Croix Prep.

The 2012 Inaugural Listen Local Concert will be held on Saturday, April 28. The Listen Local Lounge opens at 6 p.m., followed by Billy McLaughlin live on stage at 8 p.m.

A meet and greet reception with Billy takes place immediately after the show. For media or sponsorship information regarding the 2012 Inaugural Listen Local Concert, contact Debbie Bramstedt at dbramstedt@stcroixprep.org or 651-395-5944.
