Commander Release Party

Where: Lift Bridge Brewery

When: Saturday, Nov. 19, 3-8 PM

Why Go: To celebrate the release of their new beer, the brewery is having a party with beer samples, a limited release glass and live music throughout the day.
Price: $10.  Tickets will be available for sale during normal taproom hours (Thu-Fri 5-8 PM and Sat 2-5 PM).

 

Cheese and Chocolate Wine Weekend at Northern Vineyards

When:  Saturday, November 19, 2011

Where: Northern Vineyards

Why Go: Sample 10 of Northern Vineyard’s wines paired with eight local artisan cheeses in cooperation with the River Market Coop and Rochdale Farms.  Guests will also be sampling a few local chocolates. Everything that is sampled will also be available for purchase.

Price: a $5 (non-refundable) tasting fee. This includes the wine, cheese and chocolate.

16th Annual Alternative Gift Market

When: Saturday, November 19, 10:00 a.m.

Where:  First Presbyterian Church of Stillwater

Why Go: Shop for gifts that “share” by fairly compensating the artisans in developing nations who created the wide selection of handicrafts, foods, toys, clothing and more.

Price: FREE

The Victorian Christmas at the Historic Courthouse Preview Gala

When: Friday, Nov. 18  6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Where: Historic Courthouse

Why Go: enjoy champagne, appetizers and desserts donated by local businesses. Also shop the various vendor booths.

Price: $30 per a person

Victorian Christmas at The Historic Courthouse

When:  Saturday, Nov. 19 and Sunday, Nov. 20 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Historic Courthouse

Why Go: a full day of fun visiting with vendors of art and high quality crafts, along with costumed volunteers, live music, festive holiday decorations and a Tea Room. Special features at this year’s event include visiting with Santa Claus and a German holiday exhibit.

Stillwater Fashion Show

When: Saturday, Nov. 19, cocktail hour at 6 p.m. and doors close promptly at 6:50 p.m. before the show.

Where:  The Freight House Restaurant

Why Go: Come check out the latest fashions from local Stillwater boutiques. Proceeds of the event go to Valley Outreach
