Stillwater’s Lakeview Hospital was recently recognized as a top-ranked Community Value Provider by Cleverley + Associates, a healthcare financial consulting firm, specializing in operational benchmarking and performance enhancement strategies.

Hospitals such as Lakeview Hospital, with scores in the top 20 percent of the country, are designated as Community Value Five-Star facilities.

Facilities get the rank from Cleverley because they provide value to the community when it is financially viable, are appropriately reinvesting back into the facility, maintain a low cost structure, have reasonable charges and provide high quality care to patients are measured in their Community Value Index.

In 2011 there were 21 hospitals in Minnesota recognized with the Community Value Five-Star.
