Stillwater Area High School’s Rachel Rhode was named to the Pioneer Press’ list of prep Athletes of the Week.
The Ponies junior tossed 11 shutout innings in a 4-3 victory over Roseville last week, striking out 21 and only allowing four hits. Earlier in the week, Rhode pitched two shutout innings in the Ponies loss to Mounds View.
She has yet to allow an earned run.
