Santa Claus came to town on a fire truck Dec. 1 for the Stillwater Holiday Twinkle Parade.

The annual holiday parade along the St. Croix Riverfront begins at 4 p.m. at the Dock Café and travels north along Sam Bloomer Way to the Gazebo at Lowell Park for the tree lighting ceremony and Santa’s arrival by fire truck.

There will also be hot chocolate, cider and cookies. The event is topped off with fireworks.  Children under 12 will be given twinkling accessories while supplies last.

The National Weather Service is forecasting temperatures in the mid-40s with a 30 percent chance for precipitation on Saturday. The forecast for Saturday night is mostly cloudy with a low temperature of about 3 degrees.
