Scandinavia has a rich tradition in music for Christmas. In this concert event we will draw from traditional carols and texts as well as from some of Scandinavia and the Baltic’s marvelous contemporary composers.  In the rich tradition of the VCC, not only will the music be Scandinavian, but also the décor - the bright stars in a cold winter’s night - and the refreshments will include a smorgasbord of delights. Our ensemble of instrumentalists will complement the choral elements of the concert with authentic instruments and repertoire.  Nordic sweaters will be welcomed!
