DESCRIPTION:The Suicide Prevention  Collaborative of the East Metro Area 
 (SPC) and PrairieCare will  co-sponsor a professional training 9 a.m. to
  noon Tuesday\, Feb. 28\, at  the Prom Center in Oakdale.\nThe presenter
  is Maureen  Underwood\, LCSW CGP\, from the Society for the Prevention 
 of Teen  Suicide. This training is designed for counselors\, educators a
 nd mental  health professionals.\nThis workshop will discuss  the effect
 ive suicide prevention programming required to develop the  infrastructu
 re of a competent community and review how all community  components are
  involved with helping at-risk youth. It will also include  LIFELINES\, 
 a competent school plan for suicide  awareness. Registration is preferre
 d.\nThe cost is $20 at the door.  Continental breakfast and 3.0 CEUs wil
