Make It Five in a Row: 'Best Burger in the Valley' Is Back
Your favorite restaurant's on Main Street in Stillwater compete for your favor—and all the revenue goes to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Help find the Best Burger in the Valley again as the friendly competition returns to Stillwater's Main Street for the fifth time, raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
There's more to it, but first just imagine sinking your teeth into great burgers at these restaurants:
- Smalley's Caribbean Barbeque
- Leo's Grill & Malt Shop
- Brine's Bar and Restaurant
- Water Street Inn
- Pub 112
- Rafters Food and Spirits
- River Oasis Cafe (the defending 2013 champs)
Now the nitty-gritty: Buy a Best Burger card for $30 (value: $65), to redeem for a free burger at each of the participating restaurants during January, February and March.
You can buy the cards at Leo's, or via mail or phone through KLBB Radio (call 651-275-1220 to learn more).
You vote for your favorite burger with the ballot number on the back of your Best Burger card by mailing (or delivering) the card to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 8011 34th Ave. S, Suite 116, Bloomington, MN 55425. (Additional donations will be gladly accepted.) Voting continues through April 15, 2014, with the winning restaurant announced late that month.
In four years of competition so far, the Best Burger in the Valley competition has raised more than $50,000 towards the fight against cystic fibrosis. Participating restaurants and sponsors make it so 100 percent of the money raised from the sale of the cards goes directly to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
