On behalf of the Foundation, McCloud’s family members will be presenting Toys for Tots with a check for $2,500 and almost an equal value in toys, in Adam’s name. Donations and toys will be accepted at the door.
McCloud, 29, died after a bar fight in downtown Stillwater.
“As we get closer to Christmas our sense of loss of Adam grows because he so loved Christmas,” the description on the event’s Facebook page reads. “We want to celebrate Adam by raising money for a great cause: Toys for Tots!”
The "Adam McCloud Foundation Toys for Tots Dinner & Fun" is 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8. There is a suggested donation of $10 per person.
There will be dinner, events for kids and a holiday gift shop.
