Anonymous Donor Offers Up To 25K Match Challenge to Historical Society Board

An anonymous donor has offered up to $25,000 to the Washington County Historical Society toward the purchase of a building for the new Washington County Heritage Center.

An anonymous donor has offered up to $25,000 to the Washington County Historical Society toward the purchase of a building for the new Washington County Heritage Center.

The amount will depend upon the amount the Board of Directors can match before March 1. 2013. If you want to help, contact any board member and forward your gift to the Society through him or her.

“This is a win-win proposition for the Historical Society,” says Brent Peterson, Executive Director, “the board has been working hard over the past year to secure funds for our new facility and this will just be another goal to meet in the process.”
