Harvest Fest: Anonymous Donor Offers to Help Restock Food Shelf

An anonymous donor's pledge to turn a food donation of 1 pound into 10 pounds during this weekend's Stillwater Harvest Fest comes when demand for Valley Outreach's services are critically needed.

An anonymous donor has offered to turn a food donation of 1 pound into 10 pounds during this weekend’s Stillwater Harvest Fest in an effort to help restock the shelves at Valley Outreach.

The donor approached Downtown Stillwater Harvest Fest organizers and committed to the “Fill the Truck” project being spearheaded by Cub Foods, according to Cory Buettner, a festival organizer and board member at Valley Outreach.

This weekend, attendees at Harvest Fest will be able to purchase and donate bags pre-filled with the items most needed at the food shelf as part of the campaign.
