In Stillwater, At Least 59 Customers Lose Power

Xcel Energy expects to restore service by 1:51 p.m. Friday.

Fifty-nine customers in Stillwater lost power Friday morning but they should have it back on Friday afternoon.

The power went out at 11:06 a.m., according to Xcel Energy's online outage map. The utility said it expects to have electrical service restored by 1:51 p.m.

One affected resident posted on the Stillwater Patch Facebook page at 11:09 a.m.:

"Our power just went out. We're in Settler 's Glen. Is anyone else without power? We'd ask our neighbors but we just moved in and don't know them yet!"

At 12:17 p.m., she said the electricity was flowing again:

"We're back up and running! I just got a new phone and finally figured out how to go online to Xcel and get the scoop. Apparently 60+ homes in the area were out."
