Photo: Sprucing Up Stillwater's Veterans Memorial

As part of the Community Thread "Spring Into Service" event, the volunteers cleaned up the Stillwater's veterans monument before the Monday, May 27 Memorial Day Ceremony.

Members of Anastasi-Jellum on May 11 helped spruce up the Stillwater Veterans Memorial for the season.

As part of the Community Thread "Spring Into Service" event, the volunteers prepared flower beds, pulled weeds, spread fresh mulch, polished the flagpole, patched concrete, cleaned and repainted names and gold stars on pavers, raked and swept the site and generally readied the area for the Monday, May 27 Memorial Day Ceremony.

The Memorial honors veterans from around the country with engraved pavers.
