Silver-Haired, Super-Strengthened Plant Nabber Hits Local Brewery

A security camera grab has an avid gardener caught full-handed. But she's not stealing beer.

Of all the things to steal at a brewery.

Security cameras at the main door of the Lift Bridge Beer Co. nabbed images of an early morning thief.

What, exactly, was stolen might be just as surprising.

It was't cases of Farm Girl, or even the now-famous Coffee Stout.

Instead, this super-strengthened granny seemed to be swiping a planter full of greens and flowers that were more to her taste.

According to the Lift Bridge Beer Co. Facebook account:

"Arriving in a white GMC/Chevy pickup, we had an early morning visitor. She used her super human strength to lift and steal our potted plants. I hope you enjoy the plants."

Unfortunately, the security cameras couldn't nab the license place of Granny Green Thumb. The brewery is hoping she just finds the strength, and humility, to bring the planter back.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press has a video account of the theft, as well, as this case has caught some viral attention.

In all seriousness, Stillwater Police are looking for thieves who have stolen a slew of pots and planters around town. This isn't the first time Lift Bridge has been hit, the company said.
