Local Artists Provide Unique, One-of-a-Kind Gift Options at ArtReach St. Croix

Looking for an original idea for a gift this holiday season? Look no further than the many artists living and working in the St. Croix Valley.

This holiday season, ArtReach St. Croix will feature the work 20 regional artists—jewelry, paintings, textiles, pottery and more will be available.

The gallery will kick-off its season on Saturday, Dec. 1 , with a Hot Chocolate Open House from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Look for that perfect gift for everyone on your shopping list while snacking on hot chocolate, cookies and taking in woodcarving demonstrations by Ron Nelson.

The Holiday Gift Gallery opened Nov. 28 and runs through Dec. 22.

Normal gallery hours are Wednesdays-Fridays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturdays, noon-4 p.m.

Faces of South Sudan

A collection of photographs taken by Deb Dawson, writer, photographer, filmmaker and humanitarian will also be on display in two galleries at ArtReach St. Croix.

The images from Sudan are being exhibited in partnership with Stillwater Junior High’s H2O for Life – Water for South Sudan.

The exhibition will be on view through Dec. 22 during normal gallery hours.
