DOCUMENT: Pub Monique to be Evicted from Space on Main Street

According to court documents, Washington County District Court Judge Ellen Maas ordered Monique Hammer, doing business as Pub Monique, to be evicted this week from the space on Main Street in downtown Stillwater.

It appears that Pub Monique in downtown Stillwater will close its doors this week.

Sam Leon, of Leon Properties Uno LLC, confirmed the eviction Wednesday morning, citing unpaid rent as the reason.

According to an eviction summons filed Sept. 28 in Washington County District Court, Monique Hammer failed to pay rent in August and September, and wrote a bad check for rent in May.

“Just to let everyone know, regardless of what you're hearing we are still up and running strong...........We are doing a weekly special, $3 specialty drinks, all Tap Beer Pints $3 and $6 Tap Mugs again, select bottle beers $3.”

But according to court documents, Judge Ellen Maas ordered Hammer to be out of the building by Thursday.
