Movember is all about moustaches to raise awareness for prostate cancer and the problems associated with men's health.
The truth is, men are often known to be more indifferent towards their health when compared to the efforts of women, who proactively and publicly address their health issues in a way not traditionally seen with men. As a result, the levels of awareness, understanding and funding for men’s health issues, like prostate cancer, lag significantly behind other causes.
To date, the 107 members of Stillwater's team "Mo Medics, Mo Friends" have raised $7,886, and are ranked 94th out of 13,952 teams in the U.S. You can read more about "Mo Medics, Mo Friends," by clicking here.
