Ribbon Cutting: There Is Only 1 You Women’s Expo

There is Only 1 You Women's Expo will take place April 13-14 at the Water Street Inn in downtown Stillwater. Event proceeds will benefit FamilyMeans.

The held a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the , which will be taking place on April 13-14 at the .

Expo co-founders Stacie Jensen and Lynnette Dirks were joined by other local business owners on March 6 for the event.

There Is Only 1 You Women’s Expo was founded in 2011 as a celebration of women-focused and family-friendly entrepreneurs sharing their new businesses with our community.

The Expo will be held from 10 am – 4 pm on Saturday, April 14 and will feature local entrepreneurs from various industries including health, wellness, fashion, jewelry, anti-aging, image consulting and financial planning.

The all-ages event is free to attend.

This spring’s event also includes a on Friday, April 13 at 7 pm. The Show will be hosted by Miss Minnesota International 2011 Mary Swenson and Dana Olson Erickson with Thrivent Financial.

FamilyMeans offers financial and bankruptcy services and education; family counseling and mental health services; collaborative divorce services; caregiver support services; youth enrichment programs; and an employee assistance program. FamilyMeans is funded through grants, donations and United Way support to ensure we can serve anyone who contacts our agency for help. 

Lynnette Dirks has always believed in the empowerment of sisterhood and the ability of a community of women to do what they set their minds to. Lynnette’s early career was in social work. She helped families heal by focusing on their strengths. Her most recent career was in event planning as a trade show manager. Despite new technology and the emergence of social networking, Lynnette still believes nothing compares to face-to-face time with like-minded, bright and motivated individuals, through one-to-one marketing venues. 

For 20 years Stacie Jensen enjoyed a career in sales as Associate Publisher of a national interior design publication. She worked closely with advertisers and exhibiting companies, marketing and promoting their products and services.

Stacie currently shares her inner passion and outer style in her work as an Image Consultant. She empowers women to shine from the inside out by helping them discover their own inner beauty and personal style. Stacie lives her life with the conviction that if she sets her heart and mind on her goals, she can attain them.
