RIN TIN TIN Will be at Fourth Annual Stillwater Home and Garden Show

The Stillwater Home and Garden Show is free to the public and will take place on Saturday, March 23 at Rutherford Elementary School from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The following is a news release from the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce, producer of the Stillwater Home and Garden Show:

The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce recently announced that RIN TIN TIN will be the guest "presenter" at the 4th annual Home and Garden show on March 23.

RIN TIN TIN is set to perform two 20-minute shows and plenty of photo opportunities.

Dolly Parker, Stillwater Home and Garden Show Event Administrator, believes RIN TIN TIN is a great addition to the Home Show's line-up.

In the past, the Chamber has been very fortunate to have local celebrities presenting at the Home & Garden Show, including an interior designer from HGTV & DIY. However, these celebrities have busy schedules and were not available this year, Parker said.

"The committee opted to focus on expanding the Kid's Activity Area from last year's show and that is how RIN TIN TIN came into the picture," Parker said.

In 2007 the movie, "Finding RIN TIN TIN", came out and is based on the true story of RIN TIN TIN, a German Shepherd rescued by an American Corporal, trained to aid wounded soldiers on the battlefield, and who eventually starred in a number of motion pictures from 1920 - 1931, Parker explained.

The Stillwater Home and Garden Show is free to the public and will take place on Saturday, March 23 at Rutherford Elementary School from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. RIN TIN TIN is set to be on location between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., specific show times TBD.

Aside from the featured appearance by RIN TIN TIN, the first 200 people in the door will receive a complimentary eco-friendly bag provided by Axdahl's Family Farms.

The Stillwater Chamber of Commerce is still accepting applications for exhibitors for this years event.
