"Over the years, the growing attendance at the annual fundraiser necessitated a move to a larger venue," Christine Tubbs, executive director of Valley Outreach Executive said. "We are thrilled to be the first nonprofit using the Imation World Headquarters Discovery Room."

The two-story space is ideal for the large crowd, and guests will dine on a meal catered by The Lake Elmo Inn, Tubbs said. Along with auction items, Valley Outreach will be raffling off an all-inclusive five night stay at an Alaskan Fishing Lodge.

A cash bar will be available during the event and attire is casual to dressy.

Kare 11 and Clear Channel Radio personality Lee Valsvik will host the event. Tickets are available online for $75 ($30 is tax deductible) at www.valleyoutreachmn.org

After dinner, dance music will be provided by the St. Croix Jazz Orchestra.

One of the Twin Cities' premier big bands, the SCJO has members who have performed with the stars of the music world, from Mel Torme to Prince.

Tickets are also available for after-dinner dancing starting at 9 p.m. for $25 in advance or $30 at the door.

Valley Outreach is accepting financial donations in the form of direct gifts or sponsorships, as well as seeking auction items for the fundraising event.

A Wall of Wine raffle will feature exceptional vintages and donations of fine wine are being accepted.

Auction items will be accepted through February 15 and donors should contact Ann Leegard at 651-342-5559 to arrange to drop off items or to get ideas of items that would be most beneficial.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Valley Outreach, a nonprofit organization that supports St. Croix Valley residents in need of food, clothing and emergency funding.

Area schools and organizations are encouraged to participate by creating their own Fund & Food Drives during the month of March.
