Stillwater Patch Going Down?

Not If My Big Mouth Can Help It!

I have mixed feelings about AOL at the moment. I love them for bringing me Stillwater Patch. I loathe them at this moment because they are telling 400 different Patches around the nation that they will be out of job "sometime this week."

I'm okay with the cable guy saying "I'll be there sometime between 6am and midnight." I am not okay with them putting so many people's lives on edge.

I love The Patch. This is where I come to read about the latest arrest, lost dog, community fundraiser, best hiking trails, nearest farmers' markets (awesome) and to read all the comments from people supporting each other and arguing with each other. It truly is a community within itself!

(Cue inspirational music) I stand with Stillwater Patch. And if you do too - SHOUT it from the rooftops! Email your friends, post it on Facebook, make a flyer (cumbersome, but nice), just get the word out that we support Stillwater Patch! Who knows - it just may make a difference.
