Message for Parents | Deep Blue Readers is a monthly book club that launched in August 2012. Youth members read avidly from books found on the Intermediate or “Middle Grades” shelf. While there is no fixed age limit, our readers typically are in grades 3 – 6 and ready for titles that appear on the American Library Association’s (ALA) Newbery Medal and Honor list. What we share is a love of great books and the excitement of diving deeper into a good story. Parents, grandparents, and teachers are welcome to dive with us.
