"The 2012 Election: Who Won, Who Lost, Who Cares?"
with guest speaker David Schultz

The elections are over and the people have spoken. But what did they say? Professor Schultz will exam the results of the 2012 elections and explain who won and why, and what factors were critical in explaining the outcomes. He will also discuss what the election results mean for the future in terms of policy and in light of the next set of elections, which are now less than two years away.

David Schultz is Hamline University professor in the School of Business. He is a frequent political commentator in the local, national, and international media and has been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN, and National Public Radio, among other sources. He is the author of more than 25 books and 90 articles on American politics, including his forthcoming book American Politics in the Age of Ignorance.
