Visions of Sugarplums: A Celebration of Music and Dance

Begin your holiday season by participating in a rare event when young ballet dancers of Woodbury Dance Center and community musicians of the East Metro Symphony Orchestra partner for a holiday celebration of music and dance.  The performance, entitled “Visions of Sugarplums: A Collaboration of Dance and Music” will be held Sunday, December 9, 3pm at Stillwater Junior High School.

The collaboration brings together almost 60 young dancers, ranging in ages from 6-18, to perform selections from Tchaikovsky's epic ballet, The Nutcracker, alongside the live symphonic music of the East Metro Symphony Orchestra. This family-friendly program will open with holiday music presented by the orchestra, and will conclude with an audience sing-along to traditional holiday songs.

Stillwater Junior High School is located at 523 West Marsh Street. Tickets are sold at the door or pre-sale through Woodbury Dance Center: $10 adults, $8 students and seniors, $6 senior groups of 10 or more, youth 5 and under free.  For more information visit www.emsorch.org or email info@emsorch.org.
