Wanna Peek?

Have you ridden the Stillwater Trolley, or the Gondola?  What do they do at Nine Cloud Healing and who just opened up Quickfire Pizza?  Who are “Foodies on Foot” and what’s a “BierCycle?”  Do you wonder about some of our local small businesses? 

We believe that a strong small business community is a sign of a well rounded, vibrant hometown.  How about you?  One of the great things about being able to blog on the Patch is the opportunity I have to connect the community with our local businesses.  Many Stillwater natives live by the unwritten rule, “We don’t go downtown.”  Considering the frequent congestion on our Main Street, especially during the summer, that’s somewhat understandable.  But what are you missing?  What local small business are you curious about?  Have you heard a lot about a local establishment, but haven’t made the time to get there?  And remember, not all small businesses are downtown, they’re all over, including quite a number run from home!

Here at Tour Main Street, we love telling the stories behind fellow small businesses and helping them with quality video for their website… but I’m hoping to do more with this blog, so we’re introducing the Sneak Peek concept!  Tour Main Street is inviting your requests… who do you want to know about?   The newest restaurant?  A unique service?  The most creative products made right here in town?  Simply send us a request via Facebook, e-mail or text and we’ll go check out one of these wonderful small businesses and give you a sneak peek inside.  Of course I’ll bring my camera, and shoot a few shots to make a brief slideshow to go with it, because you also want to see some details right?  As a rule, I always post with some sort of video!  So send your requests my way and stay tuned for the next Tour Main Street blog post as we peek inside one of our fantastic small businesses!
