Anti-Police Graffiti Appears on Stillwater's Main Street Stairs
The spray-painted markings included a drawing of a police officer.
The City of Stillwater Public Works department alerted Stillwater police Monday to graffiti on the Main Street stairs that included an anti-police drawing and message, according to a police report that described it this way:
"As I went down a few stairs, adjacent to the [cement] tube, I observed bright red spray paing displaying a hand drawn picture of a police officer, wearing a badge and appearing to be hoding a gun. There was an arrow drawn through the head and written above the drawing said, 'DEATH 2 PIGS.'"
Alongside the concrete tube, on the rock bluff, "25B" was sprayed in bright green paint. "25B" also appeared on the back side of the cement tube, and a small circular design was painted in green on the sidewalk at the top of the stairs.
A Stillwater officer photographed the graffiti. There are no suspects at this time.
