Eagan Police Nab 2 Suspects in Hudson Spirit Seller Liquors Shooting

Eagan police followed the vehicle that matched the description of one involved in the shooting, leading to the arrests.

Eagan police arrested two suspects believed to be involved in a shooting at Spirit Seller Liquors in Hudson Sunday morning.

The suspects were arrested at a hotel in Bloomington. Bloomington police were also involved, said Eagan Police Sgt. Brad Ramthun.

The arrests came after three were injured in the shooting at the Hudson business during a dispute between people in two vehicles that may have started at a nearby gas station, according to the Pioneer Press.

After the shooting, the Minnesota State Patrol broadcast information about the incident, which the Eagan Police Department rebroadcast to their officers, explained Ramthun.

An Eagan officer waited at I-494 and Dodd Boulevard and then followed a vehicle that matched the description as one involved in the shooting incident, according to Ramthun. The suspects were arrested at the Bloomington hotel.

The Hudson Police Department is investigating.
