Upon gaining entry into Wojtas’ home, detectives were told he was not currently home, but would be returning soon. At that same time, Stillwater police located Wojtas driving his vehicle near the area of his home and conducted a traffic stop.

Officers allegedly located a blue plastic bag containing 3.8 grams of methamphetamine on the driver's side floorboard of his vehicle, the complaint states. During the search of his home, detectives allegedly found another small bag containing 2.5 grams methamphetamine in his bedroom.

In all, the total amount of methamphetamine police located during the search was 6.3 grams, according to the complaint. Wojtas was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.

While at the jail, Wojtas allegedly admitted that the methamphetamine police found in his vehicle and bedroom did belong to him, the complaint states. He allegedly told police he is "addicted to methamphetamine and that he does sell it to several people," reportedly describing himself as the "middleman" when it came to the sale of methamphetamine.

According to court records, Wojtas was convicted of fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance going back to June 2006 in Washington County.

If convicted of the current charge, he could face a maximum of 30 years in prison and up to a $250,000 fine.
