Jury Finds Stillwater Massage Parlor Owner Guilty of Criminal Sexual Conduct
Land of Pharaohs owner Amir Abd El Malak, 36, was convicted of two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct in the nonconsensual fondling of female customers at his massage parlor in Stillwater.
A Stillwater massage therapist was found guilty of criminal sexual conduct Friday following a week-long trial and nine hours of jury deliberation.
Land of Pharaohs owner Amir Abd El Malak, 36, was convicted of two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct in the nonconsensual fondling of female customers at his massage parlor located at 1940 Greeley St. in Stillwater. He was acquitted of two other counts.

Fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct charges each carry a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and/or $20, 000 in fines. Sentencing is set for 8:30 a.m. March 18 at the Washington County Government Center.
Following the guilty verdict Maas ordered Malak to surrender his passport and not perform any massages on anyone until sentencing.
“Female massage customers are particularly vulnerable and this defendant preyed upon that vulnerability,” Washington County Attorney Pete Orput said in a statement. “I congratulate the jury for bringing justice to these victims. This case brings to light the continued need to license massage facilities, something Minnesota does not currently require.”
The case was prosecuted by Assistant County Attorney Imran Ali.
