Stillwater Police Investigate Vandalism at Downtown Parking Ramp

On March 16, a group of teens allegedly caused about $2,000 in damage to the Stillwater Municipal Parking Ramp located at 200 Second St. N.

The beautiful spring weather has brought out an ongoing, and ugly issue at the Stillwater Parking Ramp: vandalism.

Stillwater police are investigating a property-damage report stemming from a weekend incident where teens allegedly caused about $2,000 in damage to the Stillwater Municipal Parking Ramp located at 200 Second St. N.

Police say the vandals pried open the elevator on the second floor of the parking ramp, damaging the doors and the elevator mechanism—leaving the elevator inoperable.

The vandalism occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on March 16, the report states. Juveniles were caught on surveillance tape causing the damage. Police are currently working to identify those involved.
