Snow Slows Commutes Tuesday

Stillwater is under a Winter Weather Advisory: Watch for another inch of snow, with winds whipping it up and reducing visibility.

Falling and blowing snow has reduced visibility and highway speeds in the Stillwater area Tuesday. It started early: At 6:30 a.m., the drive into St. Paul from the I-94 bridge on the St. Croix River was triple its usual length, WCCO-AM reported.

The National Weather Service included Stillwater in a Winter Weather Advisory that continues until 3 p.m Tuesday. Expect another inch of snow to accumulate and gusts of up to 50 mph in open areas.
