If you want to take a tall ship under the Stillwater Lift Bridge, the Minnesota Department of Transportation says Tuesday, Oct. 22 is the last day to do it in 2013.
Starting at 12:01 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23 MnDOT will keep the bridge in the down position until next spring.
Boaters and other water traffic can ask MnDOT to raise the lift section by calling Metro Dispatch at 651-234-7110. They require a 24-hour notice.
