After passing the Minnesota House in the dark of night, the Republican-backed voter ID constitutional amendment passed on a party line vote in the Minnesota Senate.

At 11 a.m. today, the Minnesota Senate will debate and vote on a controversial constitutional amendment requiring a state-issued photo ID to vote in a Minnesota election.
