Monday School Closure Includes All Activities at Stillwater Area Public Schools

Due to predictions for very cold temperatures, Governor Dayton has announced that all K-12 public schools in Minnesota will be closed on Monday, January 6, 2014. The decision was announced today in order to give parents and guardians sufficient time to plan for these closures. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause, but we appreciate that the Governor has put the safety of our students first.

All of the Stillwater Area Public Schools will be closed and activities canceled on Monday, Jan. 6, including Adventure Club, early childhood programs and community education activities.

I encourage Minnesotans of all ages to exercise caution in these extreme weather conditions.”
