On Tap: Stillwater Area School Board Meeting

A preview of the Stillwater Area School Board agenda for June 23.

Tonight at the Stillwater Area School Board meeting there will be discussion about a possible government shutdown and what that means to Stillwater schools and more on the 2011-2012 preliminary budget.

On the consent agenda, the Board will discuss the removal of bleachers from , as well as review and comment on district facility upgrades.

Assistant Superintendent Ray Queener will give a report about the possible impact of a government shutdown; Stillwater Area High School Activities Director Ricky Michel will give a spring activities recap; Chris Lennox will talk about summer programs; and Superintendent Tom Nelson will give a fall election recommendation.
