Stillwater Area School Board Members Raise Own Pay

It's their first pay increase in 17 years, according to the Stillwater Gazette.

Members of the Stillwater Public Schools school board will get $350 more per year for their service on the board. 

The school board voted to raise member pay at its Jan. 9 meeting, according to the Stillwater Gazette, from the current $4,400 per year. The chairperson's pay will increase by $250 to $5,250. 

The last time the board got a pay raise was 17 years ago, the newspaper reported, citing District 834 information.
