Football Friday: Ponies Host Forest Lake for Home Opener

Stillwater hits the gridiron against Forest Lake tonight in the  home opener at Pony Stadium.

Kickoff is 7 p.m.

The Ponies (1-0) took care of Park 27-6 in the season opener, while Forest Lake (0-1) lost to Hastings 20-9.

The Ponies Touchdown Club will stream the game (and all varsity games) live on PoniesFootball.com for free.

We encourage fans to support the team and come and watch all the games in person, but for those who live far away or have conflicts this is a great option.

The live streaming can be viewed by anyone with an internet connection on laptops, smartphones, and smart tvs. The games are also archived on the PTC’s YouTube channel for later viewing.

Central Media Services is providing the live streaming equipment and service. KLBB is providing the play-by-play call. The stream starts 15 minutes before kickoff.

ESPN2 will be airing a Stillwater Ponies game on Friday, Sept. 13 against Cretin-Derham Hall at St. Thomas University.

You can tune into next week’s game on channel 24 on Xfinity by Comcast in the Stillwater area or channel 209 on DirecTV.

The game can also be found online if you are an Xfinity customer.
