Stillwater Police: 'Night to Unite' is Aug. 7, Register Your Block Party Now

The Stillwater Police Department's fourth annual "Night to Unite" event is set for Aug. 7. If you are interested in hosting a block party, police encourage you to register your event to ensure a visit by the Stillwater Police and Fire Departments.

The will be celebrating their fourth annual “Night to Unite” event Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 5-9 p.m. at .

“” is an evening intended to heighten crime prevention awareness, generate support and participation in local anti-crime efforts, as well as strengthen and develop police community partnerships.

Stillwater police will have emergency vehicles and equipment on display, as well as various games and prizes.

“We invite you to come and meet the Stillwater Fire Department, City Council Members, Lakeview Emergency Medical Services, National Guard, Stillwater Police K9 “Buzz” and various local businesses who plan to be present and help us celebrate this event,” Crime Prevention Officer Andrea Olson said in a news release. “We are also excited to have the Teddy Bear Band (5:15-6pm) and Rainbow Corral Critters (petting zoo) celebrating with us this year.”
