“Through research, technology and medical advancements the average life expectancy of a child born with cystic fibrosis has been lengthened from 22 years to now nearly 40. But the tragedy of knowing you may outlive your child drives the CFF organization and this fundraiser to help find a cure,” said Cory Buettner, coordinator of the competition. “We hope to aid CFF with their mission of ‘Adding Tomorrows Everyday.'”
