Stillwater 2013 Children's Twinkle Parade Set for Sunday, Dec. 15

Updated below. Extreme weather has prompted the postponement of the annual Stillwater Children's Twinkle Parade from this weekend to Sunday, Dec. 15, at 4 p.m., according to the event Facebook page: 

DATE HAS CHANGED DUE TO EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS

NEW DATE IS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15TH

Bring the kids to our annual Twinkle Parade! Meet outside the Dock Cafe for cookies, coffee, and cocoa then off we go, parading and caroling along the river for the tree lighting ceremony at the Gazebo, a visit from Santa and kid-friendly fireworks.

Twinkle lights will be passed out while supplies last, but feel free to use your imagination and wear your own lights to add to the fun!

Victorian strolling carolers, 1-3PM;  *Victorian Tea at Lowell Inn,  2-4PM (www.lowellinn.com);  “Santa & Song” at the Historic Court House, 2PM;  *Lunch with Santa at the Dock Cafe, 11AM.  *Biercycle Caroling Tours 2PM & 3PM.   The Free Carriage rides and the Twinkle Parade have been cancelled due to weather.  Twinkle parade is rescheduled for Sunday, Dec. 15th.

UPDATE: Light Up Lake Elmo, originally set for Saturday, is also postponed.
