A 22-year-old inmate at Stillwater prison is facing new felony charges after threatening to kill a correctional officer and his family. According to a Washington County criminal complaint, Damon Derrail Clark got angry with the correctional officer after the man refused to administer Clark's medication. The officer allegedly told Clark that—as per usual—the prison nurse would administer his medication at the scheduled time. Clark then reportedly launched into a tirade, alleging other murders and threatening to kill the guard and his family once he was released from prison. Prosecuting attorney John Magnuson sees the latest motion as a way for Stillwater's accused dominatrix Kristal Ann Taylor to get a redo for her previous court hearings.
Accused Stillwater dominatrix Kristal Ann Taylor could get an opportunity to have her case heard again, but this time, with legal representation. Taylor, whose last name was erroneously entered as "Zimmerman" in the criminal complaint and court documents, went into the case representing herself after being arrested in June for owning or operating a disorderly house, a gross-misdemeanor offense. Taylor appeared in Washington County District Court Thursday afternoon when her attorney, Joseph P. Tamburino argued that she still had a right to legal representation under the protection of the Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Colin Emmet Orcutt was arrested on Nov. 19 and charged with felony domestic assault by strangulation, gross misdemeanor domestic assault with a prior offense and gross misdemeanor interference with a 911 call. A 20-year-old St. Croix Beach man was convicted of felony aiding and abetting second-degree burglary in connection with an April 15 burglary in the 2600 block of Hidden Valley Lane. Washington County District Court Judge Tad Jude sentenced John William Moeller to 150 days in jail and five years probation for his role in the theft of a Bushmaster AR 15 rifle from a friend's home. A 19-year-old Woodbury man was arrested for possessing brass knuckles at St. Croix Valley Alternative Learning Center after police responded to a report of a student who smelled like marijuana. Blake Andrew Tomasko was charged by the Washington County Attorney's Office with one count of felony possession of a dangerous weapon on school property. His first court appearance is scheduled on Dec. 28. According to a criminal complaint filed at the end of Oct.: Luis Alberto Ruvalcaba-Herrera, 23, was charged with felony fourth-degree assault after spitting in a guard's face because he was angry that the guard placed him on investigative restriction for abusive behavior. The alleged incident happened on Aug. 16 after Ruvalcaba-Herrera learned of his restricted privileges during a routine security check. According to a Washington County criminal complaint, Stillwater police arrested Joshua Robert Dreyling, 22, after being dispatched to the Stillwater home of Dreyling’s ex-girlfriend following a domestic assault.
