Stillwater Stroller Skater Revealed ... as New MN RollerGirl

Casey Worthington usually runs with her 'kiddos' but since joining Minnesota's premiere roller derby league, you'll see her on wheels.

Stillwater Patch asked, 'Stillwater Stroller Skater, Come Back!" and Casey Worthington responded (by email), "hey, that's me and my kiddos":

"I love doing this with them and they like going fast! The reason I do it is that I was drafted to the Minnesota RollerGirls (the premiere roller derby league in the state) a couple months ago after just starting to skate earlier this year.

"I usually go running with them in the stroller but I now need to work on my skating skills so we mix it up with stroller skating.

"We usually go down by the river because it's pretty and the surface is nice but sometimes we'll just zip around in our Stillwater neighborhood.

"With the hills, I run up on my toe stops - great work out and really good practice for derby! Then on the way down the hills, I'm working on my stops—also very good practice!

"I plan on taking them out until the snow falls, then I'll be all alone at the dome over the winter (and at practice of course)."
