Sen. Karin Housley Witnessed Viking Invasion of England
She saw Minnesota stun the Steelers at London's Wembley Stadium.
State Sen. Karin Housley (R-39) was in London Sunday for the Minnesota Vikings' overseas triumph over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Housley posted photos from Wembley Stadium — where they're used to seeing the other kind of football — on her Facebook page.
One commenter teased, "Purple is soooo not your color."
Housley had this post-game response: "Too fun! And purple IS my color. A WIN!!"
Daughter Reide retweeted a photo from the official @Vikings Twitter account showing the entire interior of Wembley stadium, adding the comment: "@KarinHousley I see you."
Housley herself confirmed by tweet Monday afternoon that she's "Back home now. :)" — where she serves on the commission overseeing construction of the new Vikings stadium in Minneapolis.
