The app shows each day’s menu, including pictures, descriptions, nutritional information for each food, and according to the district's news release, makes finding common allergens simple.

“Many of our parents and students are using smartphones and we wanted to make our menus and nutritional information convenient for them to access," Linda Nordgren, Supervisor of Nutrition Services, wrote in the release. "This new app and website will help us communicate in real-time about menu options and will also be a great way to show parents and students the district-wide emphasis we’ve put toward serving more fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains.”
