Pizza Ranch Eyes Oak Park Heights Space for Newest Buffet Location
The hope is to open the new restaurant late this year or early next year.
Pizza Ranch is hoping to open their newest location in Oak Park Heights, next to AmericInn Hotel on 60th Street.
The new building would have a drive thru and a 220-seat restaurant, according to documents submitted to the Oak Park Heights City Council. The restaurant would bring four full-time positions and 70 part-time jobs, according to public documents. Pizza Ranch is a buffet-style restaurant.
The company has more than 170 locations in 11 states, according to the Star Tribune, including buffets in Apple Valley and Maplewood.

The City Council unanimously approved an ordinance change allowing a conditional permit for the restaurant space to be rezoned from open space to general business space to allow for the drive-thru.
