Stillwater Restaurants Fare Well in Best Burger in the Twin Cities Contest

Stillwater restaurants represented real well in the 2013 Best Burger in the Twin Cities Reader’s Choice Contest recently put on by the Pioneer Press.

River Oasis Café hung in the top of the voting throughout the voting process, and wound up taking second place in the TwinCities.com contest.

“Despite our best effort, we ended up with the second most votes for having the Best Burger in the Twin Cities,” River Oasis Café’s Facebook status update read on Wednesday afternoon. “We would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who voted for us.” 

Two other Stillwater area restaurants—Twin Points Tavern (9) in Lake Elmo and Joseph’s Family Restaurant (23)—finished in the Top 25.

Tin Cup's Restaurant & Bar on Rice Street in St. Paul received the most votes.

In all, six local establishments were in the running for 2013 Best Burger in the Twin Cities.
