Light Up Lake Elmo Event Postponed
Light Up Lake Elmo, the City's first annual holiday event, has been postponed due to cold weather conditions.
The event, originally planned to take place on Saturday, December 7th, has been rescheduled to Saturday, December 14th. Activities will take place in downtown Lake Elmo from 4-7 pm.
Attendees will enjoy a visit from Santa in the holiday field of trees, complimentary cider and cocoa, caroling, games and more. Kids can complete activities to fill their "Passport to the North Pole" to receive a prize. Attendees are encouraged to bring an ornament to help decorate the community tree, which will be lit at 6 pm. Ornaments collected will be donated to FamilyMeans Cimarron Youth Program, and gifts will also be collected to donate to Toys for Tots.
