Documentary & Dialog: Vanishing of the Bees screening

Marine Community Library & Judd Street Film Coalition present Vanishing of the Bees, the second film in our Documentary & Dialog series. Following the film there will be a conversation and honey tasting led by Bob Sitko, a certified master beekeeper. Honey samples will include local, cultured and honey from around the world including Norway and Hawaii. Light refreshments will be served.

This documentary follows two commercial beekeepers, exploring their struggles as they try to protect their honeybees. Despite years of research into Colony Collapse Disorder, a definitive answer has yet to be found to the alarming disappearance of bees.
