I am loving this weather!
Last night I met a friend at the Brown's Creek Trail for a walk with her pooch. There is a parking lot about one block south of Neal and McKusick. Use of the trail and park are free.
We wound around many of the loops and ended up walking for about 2.5 miles. I never know where I am back there, so I am guessing that we could have done the loop again or added some others. It sure was beautiful. The wild flowers are stunning and the trail usually has a few other people on it at any given time. It is mostly open grasslands with some shady areas of trail. It can be very wet after a rain and none of it is paved. There is also a great playground near the parking lot (with a port a potty too) and in the winter, it is a great place to ski.
