Police were called to the Stillwater Public Library Wednesday on an intoxicated male at closing time, but the plot quickly thickened when they tested him in the comfort of the squad car.
A preliminary breath test showed the Stillwater man had a .351 alcohol level, according to a police report.
That's almost four-and-a-half times the legal limit to drive, were he to have tried.
Instead, he got a chaufered trip to detox.
